Fallout 4 was only teased in a 3 minute video a few days ago, but already a group claim to have figured out the position of several key landmarks, along with the exact location of Vault 111 including the town in which it is in. The Pre-War Team have been analyzing the teaser trailer released by Bethesda in amazing detail, in fact I would go as far to say 'Obsessive' detail. Using a scaled map of Boston and locations from the teaser the team of Fallout fanatics manged to determine a scale of 1:3 had been used. Using a scale of around 1:3 the team estimate that the Fallout 4 map will be around 30 miles square which they say is "Double that of Skyrim's 14.6 SM. Bethesda claims they are out to reinvent the open world genre, and with a new engine under the hood, this seems very possible." Linking landmarks shown in the game to those on an actual map of Boston, the team were soon able to identify key points shown in the game, coupled with their amazing deductive skills they soon managed to piece together the puzzle. As you can see from the image above, hours of work finally paid off and the team managed to track down the location of Vault 111. You can see the whole process laid out in text and image form right here, and trust me even if you are not a fanatical Fallout fan, its still worth a read, or you can watch the video below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ModI6ruq73Q Have a watch of the video , or a read of the blog and let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Personally I think these guys have done an amazing job piecing this together.
