Bungie explains what happened to some of Destiny’s missing Taken King stuff

Destiny and its sizzling expansion The Taken King aren't short on content - including the Nightfall strike that just became a lot more profitable - but what about the stuff that Bungie was forced to cut? In the latest issue of Edge, creative director Luke Smith reveals what happened to the Cryptarch's corrupted engram missions (the Guardian aficionados among you will remember the Speaker selling a slot-specific drop buff for said raid, but the missions never made it into the final game).

So what was the issue? "Just bad, unfixable bugs we found in certification, so we punted them," says Smith. "There was another item that reset your Nightfall cooldown so you could run another one. We’re going to experiment with them in the future." Still, no need for the sad face - the November Destiny update will fix Crucible Legendary drops, bounties and quests.
