I want to install a larger harddrive in my rgh xbox 360. How do you copy files over to the new hd from the old harddrive? I already have everything installed on my old hd including xbox 360 games, xbox 1 games, live arcade games, fsd, dashlaunch, and emulators. I plan to do the following. 1) backup all files on old harddrive to usb hd using fsd file manager or through ftp. 2)swap out old hd with new hd and format new hd. 3) copy all backed up files through ftp or usb hd running xexmenu on a usb flash drive. Will this method retain my save games and avatar and allow me to play xbox 1 games? Or do I need to create a $$systemupdate folder to update the dashboard again like what i read online. I already updated to the latest dashboard version using xpg easy updater 0.5 from this forum and the program even has an install xbox compatibility files ability. Should I run the xpg easy updater again after I installed and formatted new hard drive? Thanks.
Honestly if you have never done this before just get an adapter to use the hdd as an external connected through usb. I did the same things and avoided the issue of possibly having to completely redo my whole rgh setup. The adapter is literally cheap asf.
