Microsoft is planning to make the Xbox One operating system easier to use with controllers. Following yesterday's (May 13) announcement of a Kinect-less Xbox One package in June, Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi told Endgadget that the operating system would be redesigned to better support users unable to issue voice commands. The Xbox One operating system will be redesigned for controllers "We do want to find ways to give you some of those shortcuts and make some of the things that we have with Kinect easier with the controller," Mehdi explained. "You can expect to see us do a bunch of things over the coming months to make the experience easier and easier, even if you don't have a Kinect." Mehdi said that changes are unlikely to be implemented until after next month's E3 gaming expo. Source Digital Spy.
