Anyone else having this issue at all? It started when I started playing Destiny but all my friends are playing it fine under a " Open " nat " , I might give my internet provider a ring but I have no clue atm
unplug all cable and only leave the X1 cable in turn off the network power wait 1-2mins turn on again and with only the x1 connected u should have an open if not den the only thing I no of is to ring them. But this should work most if the time.
So unplug the HDMI and so on and just leave the Xbox cable in? Turn on my wifi and turn it back on? I'll try. It's really annoying, limited time for the Destiny beta as well =/
no sorry I mean only the network cable, so u should only have the x1 connected to the net nothing else connected to yr broadband.
No need to unplug everything. Just choose 'power saving'on power up settings. Press the xbox sign on the console for 5s or until it off and wait for 10s. Then switch back on. If the problem still occur. U might need to reboot ur router. If still occur maybe u need manually set up port forwarding. And lastly call ur isp provider if all the steps not working. Good luck
Right, thanks both. The problem is, even though I have a open nat type, it get the error message " Attention, No internet connection detected. Please check your network configuration and try again". But, when I press A and A again, it loads up the game .... This happens every 15-20 minutes. Could it be something to do with a port?
log onto your routers page and check that you have upnp enabled and possibly if its in your routers settings check to make sure that you arent using a cone nat type as i use to have connection issues with my X1 due to having a cone nat type. if these are all fine, try portforwarding the xbox ports to your X1, no you dont need a static ip to portfoward also if possible can you ping your xbox's internal ip and post back the latency (on your pc open cmd and type ping (ip address) you should be able to get your x1 ip from the network settings under advanced
I've checked and UPnP is enabled. Honestly, I don't know how to portforward the Xbox one =/ Could we discuss it via PM if you have a minute? I also can't find anything about the "cone" nat type either.
If the above port forwarding doesn't work, I would suggest talking to you internet provider, xbox etc. Port forwarding worked for me.
yes its the new dashboard that making you strict nat im on the beta dashboard and im gettting it now and then and my ports are all open
