I'm sure, I have been having trouble with the item editor as well. So HMU anyone who can give me a pickaxe and full executioner armor? Also try removing any 0s from the front
So, I've been using this editor for a bit, and while I can easily edit items I already have, adding in anything I don't already have doesn't seem to work terribly well. I attempted to add a bunch of rings (following the instructions to the letter), and have not been able to get any of those changes to stick.
Can someone clarify what we should be putting in the Value Entered field when we are trying to add an item like a ring or a weapon? Do you just put '1' if you want one ring or one of the weapon in question? Because it seems the items I already have that are not consumables have values like '16751' for like a piece of armor for example.
Okay I'll make this simple for those that are having trouble making it stick. We'll Call the this "Items Guide For Dumbies." Now When you add an item to make the item 'stick' you MUST ABSOLUTELY Remove the 0 at the begining of a code. Example: Large Titanite Shard 03A26798 Delete the '0' to get this Large Titanite Shard 3A26798 Add a value and save after you add the items you want. Now this should work. If not there really is no helping you. P.s: Also keep in mind items that you get from Covenants WILL NOT be able to be equiped until you Join said Coven. Same thing could be said about NPC clothes. Sorry kiddies but your gonna have to kill them for their stuff.
Okay after playing around with the items adder and I'll keep adding to this post as I go so bare with me. This might help if you haven't figured it out already. Items that are added have a tendency of disappearing if you use save editing item adder, so don't freak out when its suddenly not there anymore. Just go in and re add it. Covenant Items like Rat's Tail or Dragon Scales so far are no go on being added. Trust me I've tried. Shields are easily added by squishing all the letters together like so: Black Dragon Shield Shield AF 2B C0 Black Dragon Shield Shield AF2BC0
Can someone tell me how to add the shards and chunks especially estus flask shards. I am following the instructions to the letter and save rehash and resigning and even though it says its updating nothing new shows up in game. I have manually added them without the 0 in front its just not adding them to my game. Anyone want to help me out if i upload my save? Feel free to pm me thanks
Followed what you said to the letter. To be sure, I made a new character and ran him through to character creation. I then put the save into the editor, removed the 0 in front of the code for Radiant Lifegems, and attempted to add 5 of them by putting the item hex code in and the value I wanted. I then saved it, and threw my save back onto the USB. After that, I opened my save game in the game, and I did not have any Radiant Lifegems.
What is the hex code for Titanite Shard the list has every other version except this one and it's this one I need to upgrade my armour with. Oh by the way really cool program and thank you very much you've turned a rage inducing experience into a bearable and reasonably enjoyable one. Shame the developers didn't build in these kinds of mods to the game and let us the players chose how dificult or easy the game is.
just removed the latest update and everything works just fine with v13 , added 99 sunlight medals and awestones now on to adding armor and weapons
