I found a way to play this game from external hdd with sound. See here : http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/132827-play-mgsv-phantom-pain-from-an-external-hddpendrive/
thanks for the tut, but still getting the same error i tried everything possible, but still iv'e never had an issue installing content, except for this game
Hey guys, how can I add the instalation content to my 360's HD? I run a LT 3.0 xbox 360 and I'd like to extract the install content from the Disc and put into my HDD. I tried extracting it from the ISO like some people said in the beginning of this topic and I just used Horizon to transfer the files over to my connected 360 usb pen drive. The game still asked me to insert Disc 1 even after I had transferred the files over to my 360 HDD I did this process of transferring install content to my 360 HDD via Horizon and it never gave me errors (Watch Dogs, Dragon Age Inquisition, Shadow of Mordor and etc) except Phantom Pain which is a pain to do.
hey umm i need some help i need to install TU 4 for my TPP in X360 but where do i put the file ? i put it on CACHE but xm360 not showing it ! am i doing something wrong ? or is it xm360 ?
can you help me please and give me an instruction how to install the update of TPP because i cant install the dlc, patch and title update. and how to check the version in phantom pain??? really need your help. i already put the update in folder 4B4E085E.
This method is far easier: 1) Download 'Xbox360 Content Manager v3.2' and '360 mpGUI v1.0.2.3' 2) Extract contents of both MGSV:TPP Discs to Desktop using 360mpGUI 3) Use Xbox360 Content Manager 3.2, navigate to MGSV:TPP Disc 1 'content' folder and FTP to console. 4) Transfer MGSV:TPP Disc 2 to your external drive 5) Transfer any TU's or DLC using Xbox360 Content Manager 3.2 in the same manner as above. 6) Play game.
Same problem here, but the solution that I can't try is matching the MediaID of the default.xex and the update. If someone that has the default.xex of MGSV:TPP with the MediaID 1395B6F2, could they upload it to MEGA please?
Why don't you simply download the correct TU for the Media ID you have? Then use 360 Content Manager 3.2 to FTP everything to your console. The software will put everything in the right place. Works for DLC, TUs, etc etc.
